Emotional, Mental and Social Development

At Sutton-on-Sea Community Primary School, we understand that emotional wellbeing and mental health are just as important as academic achievement.

We recognise that some pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) may need additional support to develop social skills, build confidence, manage emotions, and form positive relationships.

Our ethos — “We believe everyone can achieve” — underpins our approach to creating a safe, caring, and nurturing school environment where every child feels valued, listened to, and supported.
