When a pupil requires support beyond the school’s own expertise, we seek specialist advice from external professionals.
We have strong partnerships with services such as:
- Pupil Re-integration Team (Pastoral Support Planning/Emotional Based School Avoidance)
- Behavioural Outreach Support Service
- Early Help
- Sensory Education and Support Team (SEST)
- Community Paediatricians
- Specialist Teaching Team (STT) for cognition and learning needs
- Working Together Team (WTT) for autism and social communication
- Specialist Nursing Team for children with ASC
- Child and Young Person’s Nurses
- Speech and Language Therapists
- Healthy Minds
- Mental Health Support Team

- Occupational Health
- Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services
- Outreach from specialist settings, e.g. St Francis, Lincoln

These professionals work alongside school staff to:
- Provide assessments and recommendations
- Offer direct work or therapy with pupils where appropriate
- Deliver training and advice to teachers and support staff
- Help review and adapt individual plans (including EHCPs)
