Mediation and Disagreement Resolution

If parents or carers disagree with decisions made about their child’s SEND provision, they have access to impartial mediation services.  These services aim to resolve disagreements in a fair, informal and supportive way.

We always encourage open communication between home and school and will work closely with parents to resolve any concerns before they reach this stage. 

However, we understand that mediation and independent advice can be helpful and we ensure that families know how to access these services.
